Is FANOLA® safe?
Yes. Fanola’s safety has been certified by TUV –LGA and PZH (Polish Institute of Hygiene).
How long does it burn for?
It depends on the model. The Producer can provide an approximate time with a given model.
Is the FANOLA® environmentally friendly?
Yes. It is a special ethyl-alcohol based liquid. It burns entirely and cleanly as it emits only carbon dioxide and water vapour in proportions similar to those contained in the air we exhale.
What is the safety guarantee?
There is a 100% safety guarantee provided the product is used in accordance to the product’s instruction manual.
Do you need additional ventilation?
No. You don’t need any additional ventilation. Natural air circulation (1 per hour) is sufficient.
What is the minimum cubic capacity allowing a bio-fireplace in an interior?
It depends on the model. Detailed information can be provided by the producer.
Can I use a bio-fireplace in any indoor space?
You can use a bio-fireplace in most interiors provided there is appropriate air circulation and you are able to provide a safe distance from flammable materials.
What is the heating power?
It depends on the model and burner construction. The lowest heating power is approximate to 1.39 kW (4747Btu/h). The heating power decreases when the flame is smaller.
Can I regulate the flame size?
Yes, most bio-fireplaces are equipped with a flame regulation mechanism. It also allows to control the burning time and the heating power.
Does the use of a bio-fireplace lead to e.g. ceiling sooting?
No. Fanola® burns completely and clean. However, you should keep a minimum 1m distance from the ceiling.
How do you extinguish the flame?
Models based on the Glassfire® Technology should be extinguished with the special tool provided with each model. Other bio-fireplaces have a special shutter enabling the flame to be extinguished.
How do you store the liquid?
You should keep it away from any source of fire. The optimal storage temperature is 15oC – 35oC.

Can I place a bio-fireplace on a wooden floor?
Yes, there are no limitations to a wooden floor provided the manufacturer’s instructions are followed.
Can I pour fuel to a burning bio-fireplace?
You must never pour fuel onto an open fire. After extinguishing the flame you must wait a few minutes for the burner to cool down. Only then can you refill Fanola®.
What size containers do you sell Fanola® in?
1L bottels.
Is there any smell while burning Fanola®?
No, there is no smell, because CO2 and water vapour are odourless substances.
